Subject: [Wd_general] question about USB driver for serial to USB IC

I am running WD 2.0 with kernel 2.4.20 on a Dimm-PC module 520. I am trying
to run several serial devices through one of the USB ports on the dimm pc.
To do this I am using an FT2232C USB UART. The manufacturer provides source
code for Linux drivers. They also claim that the drivers are built into
kernel 2.6.9. I was wondering how to build the driver from source for my
kernel and WD version. If anyone knows of an already existing patch or
something I would really appreciate it. Here is a link to the driver page

curious if USB drivers are built into WD 2.0? If they are, what drivers are
built in? Is it just the standard host drivers or are their others like mass
