On September 13th the Cary Community Foundation is bringing many of the wonderful groups together that make Cary one of the "Best Places to Live." We are inviting you to join us for your family destination event. Here is a sample of Cary's sunset celebration. Athletic Events: Cary is one of North Carolina's most active towns gaining recognition as a "Fit Community." Any celebration of Cary would not be complete without a family fitness event and Celebrate Cary at Sunset has two! For families who enjoy short distances they can participate in the CARY 7000. This event sounds long and fast but it is not. Circling Symphony Lake is 7000 feet or about 1.25 mile. Go easy or go hard but get up and GO! Following the CARY 7000 is the Cary Sunset 5K.
