If you are interested in volunteering, please contact any board member or just reply to this email. (Remember, that clicking reply normally sends your reply to the entire list) If we provide the volunteers directly, they have some incentives including free ad space in the magazine and on the t-shirts. This is a great opportunity for the TTC to support the local triathlon community. Come see the sport from the other side of the barrier. We will be voting for a new TTC Board. If you have any nominations or would like to volunteer for the TTC Board, we are looking for some new excited talent to lead the club into next year. Several of the board members are resigning, and everyone is at least up for re-election. Board members are given free membership in the club, and it's a great way to get involved in the local triathlon community. New club members are welcome, and encouraged. The KIT program is a great community service run by a former TTC board member. Please consider taking some time this weekend to help out. They only need a couple hours of your time, and it's a great service for our future triathletes. You can reach Maylene at KidsinTraining at nc.rr.com. ------------------------------------------------------------------ Volunteers are needed for our upcoming event, KIT Triathlon at Brier Creek. The tri is for ages 5-17 and will be held at 8:30 am on Saturday, Sept 22, at the Brier Creek community in Raleigh. Information can be found on our website at www.kidsintraining.com on the race page where there is also a link to the map. We will need help in the following areas/times: * Directional from 8am until about 10:30. (up to 15 people) * Setup from 6 am until 8:30 (up to 5 people) * Cleanup from 10:00 until about 11:30 We appreciate you spending your time with us so all volunteers will receive either an event short-sleeved Tshirt or a knit beanie cap. We also give a complimentary registration that can be used on any of our races - it's transferable so even if you don't have kids you can give it to someone else you know (make sure you email me).
