I was also hoping someone might be able to help me out with directions to get to the site. Could anybody help me? I am coming from Southern Durham (close to Southpoint mall). Active Play for the entire Family Message-ID: <031201c7b332$8e6b93a0$6401a8c0@toshibauser> Kids in Cross Training Program Active Play for the entire Family provided by Fit & Able Productions, Inc. A big question for parents today is "what do I do about getting my kids to exercise?" First and foremost, exercise should be more than a task; it should be a life style. You would laugh at a smoker who quits smoking for 30 minutes every other day, or a dieter who doesn't eat for an hour a day. Healthy lifestyles mean behaviors that we incorporate into daily living - a better way of life, not time out during the course of a day. Many parents look for opportunities to help their children and families adopt a lifestyle that supports life long health & vitality. Kids in Cross Training is like a weekend recess for your family where active play helps you to get fit together building endurance, flexibility and strength. Cross Training is a great way to develop multiple fitness skills while training for a goal such as the family triathlon on September 8 in Cary. Benefits of active play: Better self esteem, greater physical skills & coordination, stronger bodies - muscles & bones, healthy weight, reduced health risks due to sedentary lifestyles, improved sleep habits, and more fun in daily living. Registration for the Kids in Cross Training Program is only $30/participant and includes: a.. All training and education events b.. Six weeks of cross training programming for the whole family - swimming, biking and jogging/running c.. Training for triathlon preparation d.. Coaching provided by USAT and USA T & F Certified Coach e.. $10 discount off NCRC Family Membership f.. Great coupons toward running products and services from our sponsors g..
