I've always viewed Josh as one of the best mainstream advocates for biodiesel. When ever he comes to Portland I see a renewed interest and newly opened minds towards biodiesel. I have no doubt his new documentary will not have the same effect on a widespread basis. (For the trailer of the movie please see www.TheFuelFilm.com ) This movie is a very positive and informative documentary advocating for the potential of biofuels. It address the stongest critics head on in a very positive manner. It also has a strong message for people taking the future of sustainable energy into their own hands. The three cities that determine how widely pushed this movie will be are Portland, Seattle and Austin. Portland and Seattle are on board and pushing our customers, employees, families, and other sustainable energy friends towards watching the movie to help boost FUEL's numbers to guarantee widespread distribution. Austin, Texas though is a little outside my network. Could you please connect Deborah Dupre with any friends and supporters we have in Austin. We are encouraging all drivers of alt transportation vehicles to extend a hearty welcome to Josh when he arrives at the theater before the 7:40 screening Saturday night. Hopefully media will be present at that time. If we begin gathering at 6:45, we will have time for a little socializing in the car park - and pictures of you and your vehicles. It will be lovely to meet you there. My aim is 1000 Austin viewers per day to view FUEL opening weekend. So, if you cannot make the 7:40 PM screening Saturday, I hope you'll take a group to see it at one of the other 4 times it screens daily. Josh sent a message saying that this is the way to prove that all Americans deserve to see this film. Don't forget: Josh's Book Signing is Sunday Afternoon, 3:00 at Monkey Wrench Books. He'd also love to see you there. Looking forward to meeting all of you soon!
