Analysis

Sacramento Convention Center
Sacramento, California

This conference is co-sponsored by the California Energy Commission,
California Biomass Collaborative, California Institute for Agricultural
Research, Center for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Technologies,
California Air Resources Board, and the United States Environmental
Protection Agency.

The conference will bring together an international group of researchers,
policymakers, and industry to share their work on sustainability criteria
and lifecycle analysis methodologies for bioenergy, with emphasis on
transportation fuels.

Industry efforts in the area of sustainability, and opportunities such as
certification and incentives, will also be highlighted.

Information developed from the conference will be used to inform the
implementation of California policies and programs such as AB 118, the Low
Carbon Fuel Standard, the Bioenergy Action Plan, and AB 32.
