I am an industrial hygienist with the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH). We would like to do a survey of occupational safety and health in the biodiesel industry. As you may or may not know NIOSH is a non-regulatory agency with the goal of occupational safety and health research. Sometimes industry becomes nervous when we start research involving their particular sector. We would love to avoid this adversarial situation if possible. That is why I am contacting you, it looks like you are involved with biodiesel research and may have some contacts within industry that ,with your help, we could start a dialogue with. We are looking for people within the industry who are interested in approaching health and safety the right way. Thank you for any help. Brandon F.
