I guy hit and killed my beloved 04 Jetta GLS TDI down here in Atlanta
(I moved here 3 yrs ago). ?I had just put in new timing belt and a/c
repair at 88K. ?I'm a little banged up but OK, just?grieving?over my
perfectly maintained bioTDI.

I am only in the country for 5-6 more months before I move my once RTP
job to Colombia, so if anybody knows of a well maintained
TDI,300D,etc. please let me know. ?I work both in RTP and Atlanta.
Looking to spend ~4K, nothing fancy since I don't need it long.

I can't wait to get a diesel Skoda Yeti in Colombia, wish they had
Skoda's here. (Skoda is Czech VW, just won recent #1 auto?reliability
award in Europe)

The Hertz contract AAA has is the lowest rate I have found on car
rentals. ?Does Better World Club have a decent rental car contract
with someone?
I still don't have an educated opinion on carbon offsets.....

I have my home biodiesel set-up for sale.   Made 2000+ gallons for me and works great but family health issues have left me with no time to resume production.   While not commercial grade, there are many commercial grade touches, like  stainless reactor (not water heater), helical inline mixer, centrifuge cleaner, etc.  Located in Winston-Salem. Includes new barrel of methanol and new bag of koh and enough oil to get the first batch.   Pretty much turn key though it might need some cleaning and tweaking since it sat a year.
